How Big Is Freebird Live?
Our capacity is 700 "standing room" only and is wheelchair accessible. Freebird Live is 2 stories with a full bar on both levels. An open floor on the upper level gives a unique viewing of the stage. Freebird Live features a large stage with state-of-the-art sound and lighting.
If you have special seating needs please contact our Manager directly, in advance, for assistance.

How Do I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can be purchased directly from our Box Office in person or from our online ticketing service - eTix. You can pick up tickets any time prior to the show at "Will Call" after 7pm on "show days" only.

What Are Your Box Office Hours?
Our Box Office is open on "show days" only (see Calendar) after 7pm for purchasing or picking up tickets. For your convenience, we offer secure online ticket purchasing through eTix.

Can You Hold Me A Ticket?
We are unable to "hold" tickets unless previously paid for. Then they can be held at "Will Call" under pick-up person's name, they must show a photo ID to pick-up.

What Kind Of ID Is Required At Freebird Live?
All our shows are 12yrs & up. Florida’s legal drinking age is 21, and Florida’s Beverage Law makes it “unlawful for anyone to sell, give, serve, or permit to be served alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age.” Section 562.11, Florida Statutes. Anyone without proper identification is marked with X's on their hands and not allowed to purchase or consume alcohol while at Freebird Live. This ensures to our staff that you are not of legal age to drink alcohol or that you do not have proper ID. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or underage.

  • What About Security?
    Everyone is subject to Security Pat-Down Upon Entry. No Large Purses - Only Small wallets & purses under 5" x 8" allowed.

    Can I Take Pictures, Video or Record The Show?
    Only still shot "NO FLASH" cameras are allowed, (no removable lens). No video or recording of any kind is permitted without performing artist/artist management's authorization. Freebird Live must be given prior notice, otherwise your equipment will not be allowed.

    Can I Come In and Out During A Show?
    Re-enrty is not allowed.

    What Is The Dress Code?
    Casual - beach wear - decked out, it's your choice! Shoes are required.

    Is Smoking Allowed?
    Freebird Live is a non-smoking venue, smoking is not allowed inside. We do offer a smoking area on the balcony located off the 2nd level viewing area.

    What About Parking?
    Our on-site parking is limited and reserved for performing artists. Like most downtown businesses, we rely on street parking, free and paid parking lots. There are several parking lots near Freebird Live. Please do not stop your car in front of Freebird Live to buy tickets at our Box Office, this is dangerous, illegal, and causes problems for surrounding businesses.

    How Late Are The Shows?
    The end of a show is the discretion of the last performing artist. The time also depends on how many artists are performing on any given night. Freebird Live closes at 2am.

    Do You Serve Food?
    We do not serve food. A variety of restaurants offering different cuisines are within walking distance. The offering is anything from appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas to full dinner menus.

    Do You Have An ATM?
    Freebird Live does not have an ATM on premises, but we do accept credit and debit cards. If you need cash, the closest ATM is located across the street or a block away at Wachovia Bank.

    What About T-Shirts?
    Freebird Live no longer offers merchandise for sale.

    What Hotels Are Close By?
    There are several hotels within walking distance and several more within a mile of Freebird Live. Just do a search for Jacksonville Beach, FL then mapquest them with our address - 200 North 1st Street.

    How Do I Get A Press or Photo Pass?
    Press Passes must be obtained from Freebird Live or the performing artist/artist management. Send your request by email in advance. Photo Passes must be obtained from artist/artist management and you must be on their "Guest List".

    I Want To Play Freebird Live - What Do I Need To Do?
    Send us a short email with your artist/band name, photo, genre, streaming link to your music, requested dates and contact number. As you can imagine, we are inundated with booking requests, if we're interested we'll be in touch. Please do not send mp3 files or press kits unless requested.

    Can I Rent Freebird Live - Private Event/Wedding/Reception/Reunion/Etc?
    Yes it's possible! Send us an email with details of the type of event you're planning, requested date and contact number. We'll get back to you quickly.
